John F. Kennedy Assassination - Truth Emerges
The murder of John F. Kennedy remains as a seminal event, almost 50 years later, leaving an unhealed wound within the very inner being of America. We learned the hard way that we cannot trust our Government, something our Founding Fathers had also learned and therefore felt the necessity of the checks and balances they instituted at the beginning of this nation. This safeguard, however, had been effectively disabled by November 22, 1963. How did this happen?
I was 10 when the principal came and told the teacher to turn on the classroom TV so we could hear that the president had been shot. I still feel so connected to those horrible events and all that happened and the traumatic impact on the entire nation. I've read a good many of the books investigating the cover up.
The new evidence that has come to light in the last twenty years help answer this question of how it happened. After years of investigation by private citizens, we are very close to fitting in the last pieces of the puzzle surrounding the assassination.
Someone who was growing up in central north Texas at the time tells me of overhearing what connected family and relatives said. Lee Harvey Oswald had noting to do with it - "he was the stupid fall guy that got whacked for just being there." As they say, follow the money. LBJ died "worth some $400M large ... when the largest salary he ever received was $100k a year," for a short time, at most. According to the shooter "near the tunnel or underpass ... hidden on the corner of that train tressell ... there were actually 4 shots fired... They had him triangulated. One on the knoll behind the fence. One over by the bridge and one in the Texas Depository."
There are some excellent investigative works recently out that connect many of the mysterious dots.
Here are four of them.

Four Excellent Works Recently Out
This is a good video that covers almost all of the multiple aspects of the JFK assassination. The other major aspect not covered is address by the following book regarding the direction or guiding hand of Lyndon B. Johnson. The video is an hour and a half long, but well worth viewing because it pulls together everything else into a complete picture. I suggest viewing the video, first, and then reading following book about LBJ's involvement.
E. Howard Hunt Outs Lyndon Johnson in JFK Assassination Plot - PART 1
1. The mastermind behind it
A new book out this year provides a penetrating analysis into the narcissistic, power hungry, megalomaniac personality of Lyndon B. Johnson, and how through corruption and various murders he achieved political power, and ultimately the office of president.
A compelling case is made that LBJ had the means, motive and opportunity to plan an assassination of a president. Near the end of his life, haunted by his failings in the Vietnam war and his role in the JFK murder, LBJ died a broken man in spirit and health.
Nelson's book
This excellent new book is LBJ: The Mastermind of JFK's Assassination, by Phillip F Nelson. It is an easy read and the author's smooth style weaves facts together almost like a novel. Finally it now makes sense to me what happened!!
As plain as day, Nelson's book brings the last pieces together of what connected the CIA, FBI, Mob and Oswald and what could have pushed all these elements and players over the line - the line of a restraining human conscience into the horrible, a deadly assault on our President.
We naturally give our government, and particularly the president - especially back then - the benefit of the doubt. Nelson's work clearly reveals without a doubt how this actually blinded our eyes to the obvious.
The Guilty Men looks at LBJ's involvement
Further efforts needed
After waiting for four decades for someone else to write a compelling book about Johnson's complicity, says Nelson, he decided to tackle it himself. Now, he says,
I'm hoping that my book, together with James Douglass' book, will attract enough attention to the matter to force Congress to take further action regarding the still suppressed documents. I think all of this will come to a head on the 50th anniversary, 2013.
Nelson is now in the process of making revisions to the book for a second edition to take care of some lingering grammatical and syntax errors and a few cases of redundancy. He hopes to finish this in the first quarter of 2011.
2. The historical events surrounding it
The Cuban Missile crisis abruptly jolted JFK's consciousness and so he attempted to fight the Cold War as a lone warrior. His own peace-oriented terms set the wheels of the intelligence community turning against him, until they reached their final destination to conspire with LBJ in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963.
Eisenhower had warned just before leaving office of the military-industrial complex. A small but powerful force within the government, namely the CIA, the FBI, the Joint Chiefs of the military, and even some of JFK's own cabinet and advisers, fearful of the communism threat came to feel the need to remove him as a danger to an American strategy of global domination.
James Douglass' book
The other book Nelson refers to, James Douglass' JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters, first came out in hard-copy in 2008. Douglass explains how it could be that the this unspeakable betrayal was able to come about.
Douglass scrutinizes the historical facts surrounding the assassination, from the creation of the CIA to the gradual obliteration of the freedoms upon which this nation was founded. Included are close to 100 pages of small-print footnotes to document and explain his sources that most do not know about.
This is an excellent book! It does not get bogged down in the relatively irrelevant details of the players on the ground in Dealy Plaza that awful day. Douglass provides a "macro-view", if you will, regarding the why of JFK's assassination.
Douglass does a brilliant job of looking at the various levels of evil that carried out the assassination. Douglass' book proves there was not only a conspiracy, but a more complex and widespread one than most of us would have believed. Anyone interested in the integrity of the American government and its agencies will profit from reading this book.
Both Nelson's and Douglass' books are eye-openers that most will find difficult to absorb.

A short list of key books on the JFK assassination and how they show who was behind it. Read these, because "the powers that be" depend upon the ignorance of the American electorate.
JFK's "Treason"
What got JFK in trouble was his secret "back channel" communication with Khrushchev -- a channel seen as treasonous by the intelligence community. Only JFK's brilliance, his American University speech, coupled with a keen love for his country and for mankind allowed him and Khruschev to make this huge leap into the unknown.
However, neither of their efforts succeeded. What they did, instead, was stir up a hornet's nest. For "the good of the country," the military-industrial complex reasoned, the ends justify the means - assassination for JFK and Khruschev ended up being deposed. The irony is that not only Kennedy, but as Douglass explains, all three leaders, including Castro, had struggled for peaceful co-existence in opposition to their own advisers.

4. Photographic evidence for conspiracy
This is Robert Groden's video documentary JFK - The Case for Conspiracy Part 1. Posted on Google a year ago, the 103 minute video was made in response to tens of thousands of requests for his optically enhanced films and photographs of the actual assassination and the investigation and cover-up that followed. Groden has been considered the world's leading expert on the photographic evidence relating to the assassination of President Kennedy for nearly forty years.
Presented in the video for the first time are the incredibly clear films of the murder, mastered from Groden's original material. This tape truly presents the case for conspiracy. Included is everything from the Presidential party landing at Love Field in Dallas to the reactions of the press, secret service agents, and crowds at Parkland Hospital. Eyewitness testimony, rare and exclusive interviews with the doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals.
Utilizing more than 200 films of the motorcade and the assassination this video contains exclusive photographic, medical, acoustic, ballistic, and autopsy evidence. Groden's films are the best proof of the conspiracy to kill President Kennedy.
The Men Who Killed Kennedy - Pt 7 (The Smoking Guns)
I run into the Nazi connection behind the assassination via the Permindex apparatus, but that seems to be what funded the assassination hit teams, and thus were part of the conspiracy. It still wouldn’t have worked, however, if LBJ hadn’t orchestrated the overall infrastructure both of the assassination and the cover-up (to become president and keep himself out of the penitentiary for other criminal activity).
The benefit of the doubt by the nation's citizens allowed for the deniability of the horrifying truth and plausible deniability by the president and government agencies actually responsible for JFK's murder.
As citizens we are also responsible. We are to keep our government accountable. However, we believed the cover-up. There is some accountability, though, that can still be done.
How to get the government to release all the remaining FBI and CIA documents that were to be released 20 years ago, is a major concern! I believe that the nation needs the healing of the truth of what happened. Hold our government accountable to release all these remaining documents.
Truth, in the end, is our ultimate safeguard.
